Tomorrow starts the New Year, and so I want to start it off right. My resolution this year is to lose at least 2 1/2 pounds a month. If I can do that, it will be at least 30 pounds lost by this time next year. It would be nice to sit here on December 31st 2012....healthier and smaller. It would be nice to not have to buy plus size clothing. It would be nice to see pictures of my self that I don't immediatly rip up or flip to the next picture so that I don't have to look at the fatty fat fat I have become. I am going to use this blog to keep track of my victories....and any failures (Hopefully there wont be many).
I will be using a Weight Watchers scale that measures water and other stuff. I wanted to take measurements today so I don't chicken out tomorrow. I plan on taking measurements every Saturday at 2pm. So here are todays measurements:

Learning new things
So here is my first post..... Seems like everyone these days have a blog. So I figured I should probably give it a try. At this point, my mother would ask, "If everyone jumped off the bridge, would you?" My response was always, "Depends on how high the bridge is and is there deep enough water that I won't die when I jump" I am sure you have heard some sayings like that out of authority figures....The sad part is now that I have a child I hear some of the same phrases jump from my lips, before i can stop them. My favorite, "If you don't quit crying, I will give you something to cry about!" Means more to me now that my son is 2 1/2.
So what phrases do you hear come from your mouth that actually belonged in your parents?
